Requirements before starting
This guide applies exclusively to PCs running Microsoft Windows. Make sure you meet these requirements:

Follow the steps below in order to configure multiplayer mode on Windows.
Download the official BeamMP Launcher
Visit the official modification website at beammp.com and click the Download Now button. The installer file BeamMP_Installer.exe will download directly to your drive.
Install the client on your PC
Run the downloaded BeamMP_Installer.exe file and follow the setup wizard instructions. The installer will automatically detect your BeamNG.drive installation on Steam and add BeamMP Launcher to the app list in your Windows Start Menu.
If a blue Windows protection window appears when opening the installer, click More info, and then click the Run anyway button.
Always launch the game via BeamMP Launcher
For multiplayer mode to appear in the menu, do not launch the game directly through Steam. Open the Start Menu (or Windows taskbar search), type BeamMP Launcher, and run the app — it will automatically update the plugin and start the game for you.
The background BeamMP terminal window handles mod downloads and synchronizes other players' positions. Minimize it to your taskbar while playing.
Join PolishDrive Servers!
In the main game menu, select More... → BeamMP, then log in to your account or click Play as Guest. You can connect in two ways:
Open the Public Servers tab, type PolishDrive in the search bar, select a server, and click Connect.
Copy the IP address of your chosen server on our homepage, go to the Direct Connect tab, and click Paste from Clipboard.

Missing "BeamMP" option in the game menu?
Press Ctrl + L in the game menu to reload the user interface. Also check under Repository → Mod Manager to ensure the multiplayerbeammp plugin is active.
Black console window closes immediately?
Most often, your antivirus software (e.g. Windows Defender or Avast) has blocked the client file. Add the BeamMP folder to your antivirus exceptions and run the installer again.
Do I need to download mods manually?
No! All required modifications, maps, and vehicles download automatically in the launcher window when joining PolishDrive servers.
Where are downloaded mods saved?
Downloaded server files are stored in the launcher resources folder (click to copy path):
